The first  mame cabinet was a little too big for our small hallway! The first weeks while building the cabinet i was totally sure this was going to be THE CABINET...........But after finishing the cabinet(without any painting) the results where not good enough for me(and also the size was a problem). The reason the cabinet was so big,was the 22" monitor.The idea was playing Street Fighter 2 on a big screen would be great.......And it WAS,but the size stayed a problem. So i was going to build another one with mostly the same parts(of course not the monitor).Below i put some info about my OLD MAME cabinet.

HUGE!!

At that time i couldt find any arcade controls here in holland. So i bought two SNES Topfighter QJ arcade sticks at EBAY and used the parts to build my own controls.I even made a small coin taster using some metal, relais and optical sensors.

A little compilation of images.

I had to use the wood from the old mame cabinet and sawed my old mame cabinetinto pieces.......................
